České fórum pro rozvojovou spolupráci je platformou českých nevládních neziskových organizací (NNO) a dalších neziskových subjektů, které se zabývají rozvojovou spoluprací, rozvojovým vzděláváním a humanitární pomocí.

Členové a pozorovatelé

V současné době má FoRS již 38 členských a 21 pozorovatelských organizací, které působí ve více než 60 zemích světa a mají celkový obrat téměř 1 miliardu Kč.

AidWatch

FoRS každoročně vydává stínovou zprávu o české zahraniční rozvojové spolupráci - tvz. AidWatch. Tato zpráva je pohledem nevládních neziskových organizací sdružených ve FoRS na změny v realizaci české zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce.

Kodex efektivnosti

V roce 2011 členové a pozorovatelé FoRS přijali Kodex efektivnosti FoRS, jehož cílem je zvýšení efektivnosti rozvojové spolupráce. Součástí kodexu je systém pravidelného hodnocení dodržování schválených principů a indikátorů efektivnosti.

TRIALOG Central Training 2012 in Prague

2012-04-24 ↔ 25.04.2012

An annual meeting of national NGDO platforms from EU-12 countries - Trialog Central Training 2012 - will take place from 24th to 25th April 2012 in Prague. This time the meeting is co-organized by FoRS.

A public "microconference" with a working title „Advancing Beyond 2015. EU-12 contributions to a global development framework after the MDGs" will be held on Tuesday 24th April.

On Wednesday 25th April, the participating platforms will meet and share information and experience from past activities and especially EU presidency.

about us

FoRS - Czech Forum for Development Co-operation - is a platform of Czech non-governmental non-profit organisations (NGOs) and other non-profit subjects, involved in development cooperation, development education and humanitarian assistance.

FoRS was founded by 15 NGOs in September 2002 and legally registered as an association of legal entities in October 2002. By the beginning of 2010, FoRS already represented 37 member organisations and 10 observers - among those are NGOs, foundations, international organisations, universities and others. FoRS organisations share the common interest of pursuing more relevance and effectiveness of both Czech and international development cooperation and enhancing its positive impact on people living in developing and transforming countries. The main task of FoRS is to represent the common interest of its members and to strengthen the relations and cooperation between the state administration in the Czech Republic, the European Union, and non-governmental organisations in the field of development cooperation.

In 2003, FoRS was one of the founding members of CONCORD, the European NGO Confederation for Relief and Development (www.concordeurope.org). CONCORD is an umbrella association of national platforms and networks of NGOs from the EU Member States that represent all together over 1600 NGOs. CONCORD regularly engages in dialogue with the European institutions, and FoRS can defend the interests of Czech NGOs at the European level by means of active participation in CONCORD.

Jointly enhance effectiveness, quality and volume of the Czech official development cooperation and humanitarian assistance, strengthen the positive impacts of Czech development and humanitarian organisations and institutions in partner countries as well as in the Czech Republic, and at the related policies making (in accordance with the vision of FoRS)
