The Lutheran World Federation World Service

 ( ) is the humanitarian and development organization working via 29 Country Programs in Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America, helping vulnerable people (IDPs, refugees, low-income local people) to improve their livelihoods, access to quality services and protection. LWF Prague Office is a new Non-Governmental Organization based in the Czech Republic, with objective to support the World Service in ensuring quality and consistent services to the target population worldwide.

Help Out /Temporary Assignment

The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Prague Office, is looking for a PMER (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting) help out in the coming months, until 15 May 2022. This person will work with the Quality and Accountability (Q&A) team. 

The main purpose of this assignment is to support Q&A in following areas of work:

– Assistance in the production of World Service’s 2023 Program and Budget Overview, particularly

  • Provide support to Country Programs in the inputting of essential data
  • Check and clean data and information provided from Country Programs, as appropriate and needed
  • Compile the final document based on information aggregated through the World Service online PMER system – Newdea

– Assistance in the production of World Service statistics for 2021, particularly by

  • Collecting, checking and cleaning data, on reach out to project participants, staff of World Service Country Offices for 2021 and
  • Supporting the analysis of these in the time line of previously collected data.

– Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

The assignment requires induction to LWF World Service online systems which will be provided in the beginning. The profile of the ideal candidate would be:

  • Interest in humanitarian and development work
  • Fluent in communicating in English, French/Spanish would be an asset. Czech language and writing skills are not needed
  • Swiftness in getting familiar in online systems and data base
  • Good knowledge of Excel minimum; some experience in Power Bi or data visualisation is an asset
  • Pro-active, self-organized, structured, interest in details.
  • The work will be done mainly online, with regular meetings at the LWF Prague office.
  • The assignment will be part-time (up to 80%), scope will be negotiated.
  • Assignment could also be used for internship placement as LWF is a recognized international humanitarian actor, working with many UN organisations.
